BSV Mastery is operated by Ben Shoots Visuals. This notice explains how personal information is used when you visit the website, purchase the course or use the student platform.
Information we collect
We collect the name, email address and account details you provide, together with purchase status, course access, lesson progress, saved notes and support messages. Stripe processes payment-card information on our behalf; BSV Mastery does not receive or store your full card number.
Why we use it
We use this information to fulfil your course purchase, provide and secure your account, remember learning progress, answer support requests, prevent misuse and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations. These uses rely on performance of our contract, compliance with legal obligations and our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the service.
Who receives it
Information is shared only where needed with service providers that operate the platform, including Stripe for payments, Supabase for authentication and data storage, Vercel for website hosting and video providers selected for course lessons. Those providers process information under their own terms and safeguards.
How long we keep it
Account and course records are kept while access remains active. Purchase and accounting records may be retained for the period required by law. Support messages and inactive account information are deleted or anonymised when no longer reasonably needed.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or a portable copy of your personal information. Contact info@benjshootsvisuals.uk. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies and security
The platform uses essential cookies or similar storage to keep accounts signed in and protect restricted pages. Payment and embedded-video providers may set their own essential or preference cookies. We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
